We have included the area “La Quincha” and adjacent forests to WILD Campo Alegre. This area covers some 250 hectares and connects with the existing reserve. This area is extremely important for the protection of the endemic indigo-winged parrot and is also next to well protected primary forests with an intact fauna including mountain tapir, puma, tayra etc.
