Welcome To WILD Campo Alegre
About us
WILD Campo Alegre (WCA) is a Danish-led biodiversity and nature conservation project
located in the high Andean cloud forests of Colombia. Founded in December 2022 by the
WILD Nature Foundation (WNF), the project aims to protect and restore one of the most
threatened and biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.
Our mission
Is to create a thriving reserve of native forest by rewilding degraded cattle
lands, restoring biodiversity, and building bridges between science, conservation, and
community. We aim to inspire change and demonstrate what’s possible when people come
together for nature.
