PROTECT THE CLOUD FOREST
Donations go toward:
– Continuing efforts to reforest the WILD Campo Alegre nature reserve.
– Removing barbed wire fences to opening up more areas for the fauna and prevent animals from getting hurt. We have already removed some 50 km of fences.
– Protection of endangered wildlife and their habitats including the extremely rare Indigo-winged parrot, mountain tapir, spectacled bear, puma and many more endemic animals and plants.
– Education and outreach on the value of forests, biodiversity and climate change
– Research and field experience opportunities for students and biologists
– Species inventories and monitoring research within the reserve
– Trail and infrastructure maintenance
