PROTECT THE CLOUD FOREST
You can choose to make a one-time donation, or make recurring gifts. By making a recurring gift, you provide WILD Campo Alegre with a predictable, steady measure of support that allows us to concentrate our energies on our programs. Donations of $25 per month add up to a generous yearly gift of $300. You can contribute to WILD Campo Alegre´s work on the whole, or give a donation directly to a specific project, such as reforestation, education or research.
Ways to donate:
1) via Bold or Paypal: This is the easier way, but also has higher fees. We are working on this option.
2) if you live in Colombia, a much cheaper option is to donate directly to our Colombian bank account. Please contact us to send you the information.
3) if you live outside of Colombia, there are also ways to support us with less fees. Please contact us for more information.
4) Buy a WILD share
– with a WILD share you “buy” 120m2 of the WILD Campo Alegre nature reserve. It is 100% a donation – please read about it here
Donations go towards:
- Continuing efforts to reforest the WILD Campo Alegre nature reserve.
- Protection of endangered and sensitive wildlife and their habitats including the extremely rare Indigo-winged parrot, the mountain tapir and many more endemic animals and plants.
- Education and outreach on the value of forests, biodiversity and climate change
- Research and field experience opportunities for students and biologists
- Species inventories and monitoring research within the reserve
- Trail and infrastructure maintenance
- Updating and improving infrastructure with sustainable technologies
